I have some good news to share, too. "The Christmas Card", (the Hallmark feature that I played the diner waitress - 'Molly' in and that Ed Asner was nominated for an Emmy this year for his outstanding performance in) was just rrecently eleased on DVD! Perfect gift for the holidays!
"The Christmas Card" is available to rent on DVD from Blockbuster and Netflix or to buy from Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble among many others. This is exciting news for our entire cast & crew. This movie has received rave reviews and received the top rating of 5 stars from www.Amazon.com ~ Yipeee!
Also, I recently performed in a 'Slingbox' commercial which will air on TV starting next week, I believe during Monday Night Football. I play the nervous dental patient. This is a very funny TV commercial worth a giggle and a titter.
Other than that I have booked a few print ads. Besides acting, I do some modeling on the side. for company brochures and health pamphlets. Not terribly exciting work, but supplements my acting career and drama coaching income. Still a struggling actress aiming for the stars.
Besides all this good career news, my husband and I are fortunate enough to travel to Thailand this month! My husband is a research scientist and has a conference in Bangkok. So, we are going to Bangkok, Chang Mai and Mae Hong Son, then flying home through Vancouver to San Francisco. I am looking forward to the change of scenery and interesting new culture to explore. I lsimply adore meeting interesting and new people too.

Thx for your kind words . . . the excitement is mounting. Now that the publication is in gear, it's time to get cracking on pre-publicity! The book, however, has not yet been published. It's due out in May of 2008.
So glad to hear that "The Christmas Card" -- which I have right here in my collection, thx to you! -- was released on DVD. You're right, it's a great holiday gift.
I hope I see your commercial. I enjoy watching you perform. Maybe one of these days, that can happen in person!
Enjoy your travels, as well. This year is our 10th weddingn anniversary, & hubby surprised me w/tickets to Las Vegas. I've never been before so though it's not as exotic as Thailand, it'll be a real fun time.
