Hello, Folks:
It's been awhile . . . sorry I've been off the charts. Lots going on. I guess I just have to get used to the fact that my "MO" is to push on, then retreat a bit, then come back, etc, etc.
Thought I'd share w/you an interesting happening in my life of late. I'm working with a local business incubator--they literally grow businesses--doing some writing for their clients, some exec organizational work--& have met an interesting man who is starting his own business.
We chat a lot. He loves to talk & has fascinating stories to tell. Knowing about my interest in Hollywood, movies, & actors in general, he told me about a friend of his -- the widow of Jack Kelly, the man who was the original "Maverick," before James Garner came into the picture. One thing led to another, & he called her & told her about me.
I just got off the phone w/her a bit ago. We're going to do an article on Kelly & see where that leads us. Life is strange . . . you never know who you're gonna meet!
