Christina:

Thank you for asking -- I so appreciate that!

The book is currently in an editing process. Every good book needs a good editor & I've got the best editorial help available! Debra indeed has had a look at it & is helping w/some glitches I had to better define. Funny thing about writing a book . . . you look at that manuscript over & over & over SO many times that there are idiosyncracies you as the writer do not see, no matter how many times you may edit it yourself.

I can't thank Debra enough for her help. She's been invaluable & I hope to return the massive favor. The book, obviously from this note, isn't ready for purchase. It's on the scope for next year. It IS, however, as Debra mentioned, available for pre-publication notice. If you're interested, e-mail the publisher at:

lynnATbehlerpublications.com

(replace the "at" with the appropriate sign) & in the subject line put: "Robert Taylor Waiting List" & put your name & e-mail address in the body of the message.

This puts you under no obligation. It will allow you early notification of the pub date & give you the opportunity to purchase a copy ahead of public distribution . . . as well as get you an autographed copy, if that's of interest.

A quick recap:

Robert Taylor was an actor during Hollywood's glamour days. Officially the longest-running studio contract actor in the history of Hollywood (a record he'll always hold since that system is long gone), he was on the screen from the mid-1930s thru to the late 1960s in film & on TV.

Taylor rec'd forever infamy when he was compelled to appear in front of the US gov't's House Un-American Activities Committee hearings in 1947. He has been publicly chastised for "naming names" of Communists & supposedly scarring their careers, & lives. However, he never branded a single actor as a communist; he did name folks who were members of the Screen Actors Guild & who "disrupted" those meetings. Big difference.

Taylor's life had an intriguing back-story that's never really been told before. That's become my job. Here's a link to his profile on IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001791/

There's a lot out there on the web about him but little is altogether true . . . many mis-statements. I hope to remedy that. ; >

Thx again for asking.

Blessings -- Linda
