Thanks again Linda. Ed Asner is a wonderful person besides being an amazing actor. My only regret was that I was not in a scene with him on the set of "The Christmas Card", so sadly I did not get to chat with him personally. My scenes were with John Newton, Alice Evans and Ben Weber - the young stars of the film and also the funny Peter Jason. Stephen Bridgewater was an amazing director to work with. he served as drama coach on such films as "Twelve Monkeys". You can see their impressive credits at imdb.com. I was honored to be among these awesome people.
AND thanks also for that article link you posted - the interview with Ed Asner. I respect him immensely for not being timid to say his piece... as he says - that will only give you ulcers! Hoorah for him. I admit I am a very liberal person - so I suppose I'd better heed his advice and tread carefully until I am in the position to make a difference. But I am not one for ulcers either!
On a different topic... I was wondering if anyone saw Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" and what your thoughts were on that film. ;-) Glorinda
